However, Mason got to Steiner first, and they watch as he executes him. Following the death of Steiner , Hudson and Weaver interrogate Mason continuously. Hudson realizes that Nikita Dragovich brainwashed Mason to understand the numbers broadcasts, effectively becoming a Soviet sleeper agent. The duo repeatedly play the numbers sequence to Mason, but to no avail.
Out of options, Hudson deliberately sets Mason free in order to follow him. Mason then punched him in the face and knocked him out. It is revealed that Reznov died during the Vorkuta breakout, and Mason's visions of Reznov are a result of a personality disorder caused by the brainwashing program. After subduing Mason, Hudson plays the numbers recording for Mason a final time, prompting him to remember the location of the numbers station , the Rusalka , a ship off the coast of Cuba.
By dawn, the team launches an assault on the Rusalka , with Mason and Hudson infiltrating an underwater broadcast station protected by the ship, a Soviet submarine station intended to be used as a staging point for a US invasion after the planned Nova-6 attack.
Confirming that the Rusalka is the numbers station, Hudson calls in the U. Navy to destroy the ship and its underwater base. Mason and Hudson finally found Dragovich in the lower levels of the facility and manage to kill him before the destruction of the base, swimming for the surface during the destruction of the targets, though Sergeants Maestas , Drew , and Aziz are killed in the process.
Weaver declares victory, but Mason is unsure. According to unlocked intel, Mason never fully recovered from the brainwashing, making the C. Weaver and Hudson became targets of suspicion as well for their association with Mason and their supposed complicity in gathering top secret information for Mason. Sometime in , Mason's decision to chase an as of yet unknown lead led the C.
As of October 28, , the C. Per a C. On May 21, , Hudson guided a C. The mission was a success. By early , Hudson was in charge of overseeing Operation Greenlight , a top secret program inserting nuclear weapons in European cities as a scorched earth policy in case of Soviet invasion. When operatives Woods, Mason, and Adler were informed of the resurgence of the Soviet operative known as Perseus , Hudson gave a briefing to President Reagan and Alexander Haig on the situation with Adler, Woods, and Mason present, later sending Adler's team to find info on a stolen nuclear weapon.
After a brief standoff, Hudson revealed the truth of Greenlight. Four days after Mason and Woods retrieved the old mainframe from Mount Yamantau, he received a call from a person only known as "Black", informing him that the mainframe was searched for information on Dragovich's sleeper agents, but had been wiped by Perseus, with the only remaining source of the information being the KGB Lubyanka building.
While extremely reluctant, Hudson ultimately authorized the mission with Adler and the operative known as Bell into a mission to extract the names from the KGB mainframe. With the intel gathered, it was determined that Pursues was storing the nuke in Cuba with an American sleeper agent to arm it, and Hudson coordinated the operation into Cuba to retrieve it.
After the operation in Cuba ended with the death of at least one operative, Hudson conferred with Black, noting that Perseus now had dozens of nuclear weapons to detonate across the Europe and the need to find the location of the signal from Bell, despite Hudson's insistence that they were a failure.
Once Bell gave the location for the signal facility, Hudson was seen on the fleet headed for the Solovetsky Islands. Although not seen, he was heard over the radio asking if Bell and Adler had been found in the ruins. Later he debriefed Black over the phone on the situation, noting how Perseus' network was now crippled.
In the event Bell lied and led the CIA to the wrong location, the nukes are detonated by Perseus, killing millions across Europe. Hudson debriefs Black and Reagan on the situation, before being seen ordering the burning of the Berlin safehouse used by Adler's team. By , Hudson was still a C. Mason begrudgingly accepted the mission.
Hudson said that David, Mason's seven-year-old son, could stay with Jenny, his wife. At the end of the battle, Hudson and Mason flew to a barge on a river. After defeating several soldiers, Hudson and Mason found Woods, locked in a cargo crate full of badly decomposed bodies of Woods' unit. Almost as soon as Woods got out of the crate, a Hind converged on the barge. Mason managed to destroy the chopper with the boat running aground just before the chopper crashed , but Woods fell into the river.
Mason saved him, and the three then managed to find an enemy radio tower. Hudson stayed behind to protect Woods while Mason went to call Savimbi for extraction. Things went badly, as Mason was compromised, but not before shooting Raul Menendez 's eye out. Hudson then grabbed Woods and then started to run to a boat on the river. When they finally got to the river while under heavy fire, a Hind then flew overhead. Hudson cursed, thinking defeat, but then it opened fire on the enemy soldiers.
It turns out that Savimbi had captured the chopper for their extraction. Just as Hudson declared victory, putting on his sunglasses, he was shot in the shoulder by an enemy soldier, but Woods reacted quickly, shooting him in the head with a Browning HP, exclaiming "You can't kill me.
By , the Menendez Cartel was flourishing. The C. Hudson, Woods, and Mason were sent to get intelligence from the Mujahideen resistance. In exchange for weapons and repelling the Russian invasion, the resistance were to provide their intelligence to the C. Hudson was staying in a cave with the Afghan resistance leader, planning out their moves.
In the end Woods and Mason discovered Colonel Kravchenko , Woods' old nemesis, was leading the charge. Hudson wanted to be the one to interrogate him for info on Menendez, but Woods told him to "Stay the fuck out of my way.
I've got unfinished business with this bastard. Either way, the Afghans betray all of their help, and then throw Mason, Woods, Hudson, and Zhao into the desert. It is unknown who rescued them, but Mason claims that a year-old Viktor Reznov saved them. Having received intel from Kravchenko , the C.
They cut a deal with then-dictator of Panama, Manuel Noriega , and used his help in taking down the Menendez Cartel. On October 6th, with the help of his new friend Viktor Reznov, Mason set in motion an elaborate prison break from Vorkuta and made his way back to the United States.
Within a month of his return, Mason set out on a mission to sabotage the Soviet space program and take out Dragovich by order of President John F. Five years later in early , Mason joined the Studies and Observations Group SOG unit to investigate covert Soviet activity in Laos and Cambodia, leading to the discovery of the existence of a chemical weapon called Nova 6, originally created by Doctor Friedrich Steiner. Of course, by the time they arrived, the damage had already been done. With various truths revealed and mysteries solved, Mason and Hudson raced to the Soviet ship Rusalka to prevent the release of a deadly Nova 6 payload and finally kill Dragovich, putting an end to the crisis in a spectacular display of fearlessness and quick thinking.
Little did they know the challenges to come in the near future Fast forward to January 8th, Mason receives an unexpected phone call from Hudson, who wants to get the old team back together.

Common sense media is making this seem a lot worse than it should be This game is just a game while there is language and violence ,that can be turned off easily with a content filter which makes this game play exactly like a T rated game, if your kid goes to a public school at 12 and up then they have heard more curse words than this game has to offer and if your child can handle shooting knowing that its fake and that guns are dangerous then they're fine if they have watched Jurassic park then that is about the same gore level if your kid play star wars battlefront 1 or 2, destiny, fortnite or any other T rated shooter then this is practically no worse.
Also this is just me but I don't think that this game actually has enough "drugs" to call it a drug reference maybe a little smoking but that is almost all.
