We were anticipating watching the series only to find out there is only three episodes! Is there not anywhere brainy enough to bring it back! I hope someone reads this and wakes up!!!! Such a classy show deserves to carry on.. All the garbage coming out of the UK your reality series make ours look like Shakespeare dramas should be an embarrassment to anyone with an once of integrity. Zen is possibly the most stylish ,well acted and creative mystery you have had since Morse. It does not pander. The location shots in Italy are tremendous and the cinematography is great. The idea of a Brit accent in Rome works well,as it enforces the clipped Italian accents of the female characters ,which are very provocative. The dialogue and mannerisms are very Italian, not in the least Anglo. Every woman and man I know felt the urgency of the sexual tension. Italian women have a sophistication and sex appeal the Brits could only dream of. In closing. It is March 2, as I am writing this little epistle. Downton Abbey is a joke. If one were to read the dialog ,you would see what a hack a Fellows is as a script writer. That show should have been cancelled after the second season.Danny Cohen. If you lie with dogs Best J. Gerber USA. Well said. Well done J Gerber! You're right and it was a travesty that this show was cancelled when endless hours of pap were allowed to be broadcast. At least there's another Branagh Wallander on its way and the excellent Hinterland - filmed in Wales and with a bilingual script, sadly BBC were too chicken to give it a prime time slot, but at least you can watch it in BBC4 and iPlayer.Hopefully Left Bank can find another channel for Zen but as so much time has passed it looks doubtful. I was so sorry to see this series and all if it's glory gone. The acting was superb and the characters so interesting to the eye and mind. The Italian surroundings I just loved and wanted to jump in the scene. I hope the decision makers at the BBC get cancelled. Zen needs to return to investigate this cancellation decision. This short series was well-acted, entertaining and amusing. For once we get something of quality, but the BBC can't recognise this. Of course the opinion of the viewers counts for nothing! What a change from police series set in dreary British cities. What a wonderful series - and Italy as the backdrop as well. A sparkling change from the cop series in London, New York etc. I cannot believe they axed it - clearly BBC cares not for quality. It's May 31, and our family still misses Zen! Out here in the boondocks of the U. Still miss Zen. Just enjoying it now on Netflix. However, would love to have seen a second series. One of those rare programmes - you don't just enjoy watching it, you wish you were in it! BBC be aware, there are those of us out here who post Brexit love Zen even more, who appreciate witty, stylish well written drama and will never let it rest. Quality BBC1 Entertainment? A tragically bad decision demonstrating that sexism is equally pervasive for men. Perhaps someday, producers with measures of intelligence and class will resurrect what is one of the better products to come from BBC in this decade.Just stumbled across the three Zen episodes and am hugely disappointed to find that the series was cancelled after the first season.A stylish, well acted, and witty production such as this deserved a longer run. Like the previous comment I too have just stumbled across this series, and I thought it was excellent. I presume the cancellation was a consequence of the wokemania that has been destroying the BBC for the last 15 years. Just watched the three episodes of Zen, loved it. This, then, is when every installment of The Clone Wars takes place, in chronological order , leading up to — and, even, beyond — Revenge of the Sith. Audiences also see Jar Jar Binks get mistaken by Separatist forces as a Jedi Knight in one of the worst-rated episodes of the entire series. The first full calendar year of the Clone Wars finishes up the back half of the first season, covers the remainder of the second eventually , and then ends roughly halfway through the third again, remember that the episodes during these seasons are all scrambled up, chronologically speaking. But what is the biggest and most consequential storyline of this month period — as evidenced by the Clone Wars series finale — is the introduction of Mandalore into galactic proceedings for the first time since it and the Republic were at war, over a millennium before. In this first three-part narrative, audiences get to meet Duchess Satine Kryze, the former would-be flame of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the splinter terrorist group of the Death Watch, which has secretly allied with the Separatists and wishes to overthrow Satine and her government. It is the former element that will propel viewers all the way to the last chapters of The Clone Wars. Running for two seasons, Star Wars Resistance is a tricky one to place in the timeline as it takes place across the sequel trilogy. It starts six months before The Force Awakens , before crossing over with it at the end of the first season. Despite the crossovers, it's largely standalone, but fans of the show would have recognised a major ship during the epic final space battle in The Rise of Skywalker.Into this mess comes Finn John Boyega , a rogue stormtrooper who meets a young scavenger with a mysterious past called Rey Daisy Ridley. They soon team up with Han, Chewie and Leia and are recruited to help destroy a planet-killing superweapon. Now where have we heard that one before? The film ends with Rey using a secret map to locate the missing Luke Skywalker. Mistrusting the intentions of their new leader, Vice Admiral Holdo, Finn, Poe and their new ally Rose hatch a desperate plan to save their friends — one which does not go as planned. Meanwhile, Rey discovers that Luke Skywalker is not the man she expected. He reluctantly agrees to teach her, but insists that the Jedi Order is finished and that he cannot help the Resistance.Rey finds herself connected to Kylo Ren and makes her own plot to save his soul. Kylo eventually confronts both his masters new and old , and Rey is left to lead the Jedi into a new age and tip the scales for the embattled Resistance survivors. There's no specific timeline put on The Rise of Skywalker , but it's apparently around a year after the events of The Last Jedi. The Resistance is in tatters, so it's a perfect time for Emperor Palpatine to come back with his "Final Order" plan. Having survived the events of Return of the Jedi , Palpatine has a fleet of ships with planet-destroying weapons, and he wants Rey — his granddaughter — to lead them as Empress Palpatine. But Palpatine doesn't expect Kylo Ren completing his Bendemption and fighting alongside Rey in the climactic battle, so Palpatine throws Ben down a shaft. Rey summons up the strength of all the Jedi to defeat Palpatine once and for all. The effort kills her, but Ben returns from his shaft fall to resurrect Rey and dies in the process. Not before they kiss, though. Rey goes to Tatooine, adopts the Skywalker name and looks on at the twin suns as the Skywalker Saga ends. Shaft-throwing is proven definitively to be an ineffective means of dispatch. After the war, the droid serves as the astromech and co-pilot aboard Trace and Rafa Martez's ship, the Silver Angel. Led by Captain Rex, the st Legion is a tight-knit squadron of clone troopers known for strength of character and unwavering loyalty.Upon being reunited with Ahsoka Tano, the men of the st show their allegiance to their former commander by altering their clone armor in an homage for her Togruta markings. Near the end of the Clone Wars, the Jedi Council is forced to send its generals far from the Core Worlds as distant planets like Yerbana are embroiled in the conflict between the Separatists and the Republic. The Gauntlet starfighter is a sleek combat ship that also serves as a troop transport. It has a sleek primary hull flanked by large pivoting wings that contain the craft's drives. The wings are on a collared mount, which can rotate independently from the hull, offering the ship remarkable maneuverability for a fighter of its size. In addition, the Gauntlet packs a punch, carrying two forward laser cannons and a pair of rearward-facing cannons that flank its boarding tube.Skip Navigation Disney. Log In.
